The Brother's Farm

The land we visited belonged to a family for nearly a century.  Before the family, this land was a dead man's land, a battleground between two indian nations.  The only confirmed deaths on the current property were the two brothers.  One died in an auger accident around one of the family grain bins.  His Brother died in the house on the property that has been around since the 1870's by self inflicted gunshot. 

The shop is a converted Gas Station that has been closed for years.  Behind it are the Cement blocks that had held the grain bins.  The Gas station itself is built over an old shack which has become apart of the current structure.  From here the homeowner along with some family friends had seen strange lights in the yard.  The homeowner also would hear strange knockings coming from an unkown sorce.  The investigation of this structure came up with no results during the 6 hours spent on the property.  The range of the lights seen by the property owner were not a car due to the two buildings obstructing the view of the road.  At this time, we cannot figure on a logical reason for the lights.

This house was built in the 1870's, and added onto nearly 8 years ago.  They had found out only after moving here that the place was suspected to be haunted.  The homeowners had spent 6 years in this place with nothing out of the ordinary, and have been living in a new house on the property for the past year and a half.  The first thing we noticed about the house is that for being as old as it was, it was strangely quiet.  During the investigation two different people at two different points in the investigation saw lights in an upstairs bedroom.  We tried from all possible entrances into the room to re-create the lights, but at no time were we able to.  In this room, we were also able to catch Audio of what can only be described as a music box.  The homeowner had remembered seeing bat skeletons in the ceiling during construction and thought prior home owners may have heard bats making noise.  We had no encounters with bats During the investigation.  A group of us had encountered a strange loud noise somewhere between russling plastic and ripping paper, but it did not show well during the Audio session, and nothing could be found to explain the noise.  We did find some plastic in a room at the other end of the home, but the volume of the noise was such as it was just in the next room which I personally had full view of.  Our other team had captured the usual Dust orbs on video, but at one point, two seperate orbs launching off in swift motions.  During an attempt to provoke the spirits, a bit of dried leaf from the top of a shelf toppled downward over a few stacked objects in one corner of the living room.  There was absolutely no breeze or air movement we could find to explain why this would have happened, and just as was provoking the spirits.  The homeowners experienced things they had never experienced before.  We cannot say the home is Haunted at this time, but we did capture some interesting and unexplainable events.
